Santana SanGrafX |
The mobile extension for Santana Alarm Management Graphics SystemsWith the latest enhancement to the Santana 900 series alarm management system, messages may be sent from the PC to SanGrafx units (graphical PDAs with GSM capability) when events are reported at the PC. This automatic transmission of events to designated people or groups facilitates improved communication and immediate action.
The SanGrafx is only palm-size but it can display graphics just like the full Santana alarm management system. Perform Historic Review of EventsOn the SanGrafx, full details of the last 10 alarms received can be viewed - exactly as they appeared when they were first received.
Any of the last 10 alarms can be selected from a simple pulldown menu as shown above. Configure Automatic Messages on the PCUp to 8 groups, each containing up to 5 phone numbers for the SanGrafx units, can be set up on the PC. Each input in the system can be associated with one of these groups so that when an event occurs, all the SanGrafx units in the group will be sent an automatic text message with instructions to display any one of 99 user-configured maps on the SanGrafx unit.

A typical screen will show both a map and a text message.

Configure Maps on the SanGrafxWith the SanGrafx, up to 99 different maps / procedure pages can be set up. Up to 99 user-configured icons can be used on these maps. A specified icon will flash on the map when an event is received. A different sound file can be set up for each icon to sound an alert for newly received events. All configuration features are password protected for security. If no map has been configured for an event, the text message will still be displayed. There is no limit to the number of addresses that will bring up text messages.
Map configuration is simple to perform - the map is selected and then "drag and drop" icons are positioned to represent detectors. Send Mobile Messages from the PCThe Santana mobile phone feature also has the facility to send messages to the SanGrafx units or to any mobile phone from the PC keyboard.
The operator simply types in the message on the PC to send it to the SanGrafx - or to any mobile phone!
